Storage environment of automotive relays

Avoid direct sunlight and maintain normal temperature, normal humidity and normal pressure; temperature: 10℃～35℃, humidity: 5～85%RH, air pressure: 86～106kPa.
In high temperature and high humidity environments, when the ambient temperature changes rapidly, condensation may form inside the relay. Condensation is particularly likely to occur when shipping by sea. Please pay attention to the transportation environment. Condensation is a phenomenon in which water vapor condenses into water droplets when the temperature changes from high temperature to low temperature or from low temperature to high temperature and high humidity in a high temperature and high humidity environment. Condensation will cause insulation degradation, coil corrosion, wire breakage, rust, etc.
Low-temperature freezing: In condensation and high-humidity environments, when moisture adheres to the relay and the temperature drops below the freezing point, the moisture freezes. Ice may cause binding of moving parts, delayed action, or ice between contacts, causing contact failure.
In low-temperature and low-humidity environments, plastic may become brittle.
When stored for a long time in high temperature, high humidity, and environments containing organic gases and sulfide gases, sulfide films and oxide films will form on the contact surface, resulting in unstable contact and contact failure. Please pay attention to the packaging form and minimize the effects of humidity, organic gases, sulfide gases, etc.
The relay should be stored and installed in a clean environment. Please use a dust cover or plastic-sealed relay in an environment with dust pollution.
Care should be taken to monitor the storage temperature and try to avoid relay storage for too long.
Storage and transportation stress During transportation, if a large drop impact is applied to the relay, it may cause functional impairment. Please pay attention to whether the appearance of the packaging equipment is complete. The relay is packaged in a long tube. When the number of relays is small, if there is a lack of limit, it will slip and affect the appearance and characteristics of the relay, so special attention should be paid.
