Holding the 7th CIIE

At the 7th China International Import Expo, CIIE, to take place in November of 2024, Pickering Electronics will present their series of high-density, miniature, high-performance reed relays widely used within test and measurement. Included among these will be the 125 series, which is soon to be released and currently represents the smallest DPST reed relay by any reed relay manufacturer in the world. The 7th CIIE will be taking place from November 5 to 10, 2024, at the Shanghai National Convention and Exhibition Center.

Display tongue spring relay

Keith Moore, CEO of Pickering Group, said, "We are honored to participate in the China International Import Expo for the third time. At this grand event, we will showcase Pickering's reed relays, modular signal switches and simulation technology, software, cables and connectors to Chinese customers, and provide efficient and localized technical support and services. Pickering Group's wholly-owned subsidiary in China, Pinying Instrument (Beijing) Co., Ltd., has had in-depth exchanges with customers and established valuable connections and friendships since its establishment in 2015. We look forward to further expanding our business in the Chinese market

Advantages of tongue spring relay

  • Pickering Electronics is a leading manufacturer of reed relays for high-density testing and measurement applications, providing high-quality instrument grade reed relay products that enable customers to install up to 80% of relays on PCB boards. These high-density reed relays support single in line insertion (SIL/SIP), surface mount, and other popular packaging styles, and can switch 1A current at 20W power. In order to reduce magnetic field interference when relays are closely arranged, these relays use advanced instrument grade reed switches with Mu metal magnetic shielding function.

  • As Pickering continues to improve its reed relay products for testing and measurement (T&M) instruments and automated testing equipment (ATE), we expect to attract customers from different fields and applications at this year's CIIE, including mixed signal semiconductor testing machines, high-end cable testers, backplane testers, signal switching in medical electronics and electric vehicle charging, solar energy equipment, online circuit testing equipment, and high-voltage instruments and meters Rob King, Product Development Manager for Tongue Spring Relays at Pickering Electronics, commented.

  • Pickering Electronics' 4mm2 series reed relays are not only capable of switching 1A current at 20W power, but also stack at a spacing of 4mm x 4mm, achieving the highest arrangement density in the industry. These ultra-high density 4mm2 reed relays are ideal for extremely high-density applications, such as ATE switch matrices or multiplexers. In addition, we have launched the 125 series, which is the smallest double pole single throw (DPST) reed relay in the market. For engineers who want to maximize PCB space, the 125 series is an ideal choice for high-density applications

Summarize

At this year's CIIE, Pickering Group will also showcase modular signal switch and sensor simulation technology provided by its switch and simulation department Pickering Interfaces, as well as cables and connectors provided by its interconnection department Pickering Connect, all of which are used in the field of electronic testing and verification. This will further expand Pickering Group's display scope in the field of automotive testing, providing customers with complete solutions.
